Free Teen Nights is now Art Underground—same great screenings and art events almost every Friday night, but now young adults ages 14 to 19 are welcome.

MoMA’s Library staff members David Senior and May Castleberry talk about why artists make books and why MoMA collects them. You’ll have a chance to see artists’ books from MoMA’s collection up-close and personal, and then make your own.

This spring's Free Teen Nights series, The Artist’s Life, will explore how artists live and work, and what inspires them. Film nights will focus on documentary and fictional narratives of artists’ lives, while art nights will range from studio workshops to discussions with artists and filmmakers.

No need to preregister; just show up and participate. Students must bring a valid high school ID.

This is a drop-in program for teens. If you have a group, you must call in advance. There are no reservations. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of sixty participants for artist talks and 120 attendees for film screenings.
